472-0375: Taper Roller Bearing

A Taper Roller Bearing is a type of rolling contact bearing which consists of rolling elements in the form of a frustum of a cone. The Taper Roller Bearing has separable construction. The outer ring is called ‘the cup’ and the inner ring is called ‘cone’. The cup is separable from the remaining assembly of the bearing elements including the rollers, cage, and cone. Attributes: • Provided with 20 lube holes and a Counter Borehole for additional support • Provided with Pin type Cage for both cones • Heavy radial and thrust load-carrying capacity • High radial and axial rigidity, therefore suitable for applications where high precision and accuracy are needed • Low starting and running friction Applications: A Taper Roller Bearing is used to prevent direct metal-to-metal contact between two elements that are in relative motion, hence reducing the wear and tear of parts.
