Description: A Hydraulic Brake Accumulator is designed to maintain a constant pressure in the brake unit, which helps to improve the response time and consistency of the brakes. The accumulator also provides a backup source of hydraulic pressure in the event of a failure in the main hydraulic unit. The accumulator is typically a cylindrical container that contains a flexible diaphragm or a piston, which separates the hydraulic fluid from a pressurized gas, such as dry nitrogen.
