Product Description
A Magnetostrictive Sensor is to measure and detect changes in magnetic fields with precision. It consists of a ferromagnetic wire or strip surrounded by a coil of wire. When a magnetic field is applied to the sensor, it causes the ferromagnetic material to undergo small, predictable changes in its length. These minute length variations are detected by the coil and converted into electrical signals. Attributes: • Provides accurate measurements of magnetic field strength and direction • Manufactured to precise specifications and built for durability and reliability Applications: A Magnetostrictive Sensor is used for the proper regulation of the Positioner unit and the use of the magnetostrictive effect allows for non-contact and highly accurate position sensing.
