Description: A Temperature sensor is located in the exhaust manifold or near the catalytic converter and is used to provide temperature information to the engine control module (ECM). The sensor works by measuring the temperature-dependent resistance of the thermistor and converting it into an electrical signal that is sent to the ECM.
