Product Description
Backup rings prevent seal extrusion in high pressure applications, and may be used to protect the life of overall sealing system from pressure surges. Attributes: • Material: Nylon • Outside diameter: 140 mm (5.5 in) • Inside diameter: 135 mm (5.3 in) • Thickness: 1.5 mm (0.06 in) Application: Backup rings are used in high pressure static and dynamic sealing applications, such as hydraulic pumps, valves and engine systems.
