Description: A Priming Fuel Pump is located near the fuel tank or along the fuel lines close to the engine and pushes fuel into the injection system to enable the engine to be cold-started without excessive use of the electrical system which normally operates the fuel pump. Attributes: • Priming pump stroke is 0.88'' • Allows the engine to start quickly and avoids unnecessary engine cranking • Ensures adequate pressure at the injection pump inlet Applications: A Priming Fuel Pump is used to pump sufficient fuel from the supply tank to the engine, mostly used in Cat 910 Wheel Loader, 931, 931B, 943, and 953 Track Loader, D3 and D3B Track Type Tractor.
