Description: A Support Plate is used to reinforce the connection between the turbocharger and the hose assembly. The Support Plate at the turbocharger inlet hose is to help distribute the weight and stress of the hose across a larger area, which reduces the risk of damage or failure. The support plate may be bolted or welded to the turbocharger, and the hose may be clamped or secured to the support plate.
