The Bent edge allows for the tight fit of the set screw with the piston. Its Size is directly dependent on the diameter of the piston. Applications: A Piston Snap Ring is used in securely holding the set screw with the Piston, mostly used in CAT 424, 42, 426, and 426F2 Backhoe Loaders.
