Description: A Wheel Tip is used in a compactor and is attached to the wheels of the compactor machine. The wheel tip is typically made of a durable material and is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the compaction process. It helps to provide traction and stability during the compaction process. Attributes: • Provided with a surface hardness of Br2.55 minimum hardness at 20 DP and Br2.7 minimum to withstand wear and tear and perform its intended function effectively • Preheating the entire weld zone to a temperature range of 175° to 250° to reduce the risk of cracking Applications: A Wheel Tip is used to attach the tip to the wheel not to put undue stress on the machine while used in cohesive soils with high moisture content, mostly used in Cat 816 and 816K Compactor.
