Product Description
Description: Cat® Engine Valves Actuating Rocker Arm is a device that transfers the motion of the camshaft to the intake and exhaust valves in a engine. It is a vital component that affects the engine performance, efficiency and emissions. Cat manufactures high-quality rocker arms for various types of engines and applications. A rocker arm is a part of the engine that connects the camshaft to the valves and controls their opening and closing. It consists of several components, such as rocker arms, rocker shafts, rocker pedestals, pushrods, valve springs, and valves. The rocker arms are responsible for transferring the rotational motion of the camshaft into the linear motion of the valves, which allows air and fuel to enter and exit the combustion chamber. A rocker arm is usually located on the top of the cylinder head, under the valve cover. Application: Cat® Rocker arms are used to actuate the valves of Cat® Engine. Consult your owner's manual or contact your local Cat® Dealer for more information.
