559-5532: 676 V/6900 W Screed Heater Element

Description: Screed heater part # 559-5532 is designed to heat the screed to prevent asphalt mix from sticking to the screed to deliver a smooth flow of asphalt mix from the hopper to the endgate. Improved design reduces water ingression into the heater chamber on certain Asphalt Screeds. New heater elements for the screed plates with improvements in sealing and wiring are being used on asphalt screeds. The new improved asphalt screeds eliminate trapped water from the main frames and the extenders. Eliminating trapped water improves the life of heating element and sensors.
