Description: A Bank Valve is part of a hydraulic power steering system in a vehicle. Its primary function is to control the flow of hydraulic fluid to the steering gear, which helps to assist the driver in turning the vehicle. The steering bank valve is typically located in the power steering pump or a separate valve block and is operated by the movement of the steering wheel. Attributes: • Quick and accurate response to changes in the control signal • Ability to provide precise control over the valve opening and flow rate Applications: A Bank Valve provides multiple control valve groups, plus manifolds and possibly auxiliary valve groups bolted together to form a convenient bank of valves for operating and mounting purposes. This is mostly used in Cat 14M, and 16M Motor Graders.
