Description: A Transmission Position Sensor is a type of sensor used in automatic transmissions to detect the position of the transmission shift lever. It provides important information to the electronic control unit (ECU) about the position of the transmission, which helps the electronic control unit (ECU) to select the appropriate gear and shift the transmission accordingly. Attributes: • Operates within a voltage range of 8 V. • Provided with an operating temperature range between -40 °C and +120 °C. Applications: A Transmission Position Sensor is used to provide information about the position of the shift lever to the electronic control unit for smooth and safe transmission operation, mostly used in Cat 966, 966K, 966M, 972, 972M, M1, and M6 Wheel Loader, RM600, and RM800 Paving Equipment.
