5I-7590: Rocker Arm

Cat® Rocker arms are actuated by the camshaft through push rods and moves valves, opening and closing them to allow fuel and air in and exhaust out of the combustion chamber. It is the part responsible for transmitting the movement of the camshaft towards the intake and exhaust valves of the engine, a process that occurs through the direct contact of these parts with the tappets and according to the movement of the camshaft. Application: Cat® Rocker arms are used in actuating the cylinder head valves. Consult your owner's manual or contact your local Cat® Dealer for more information.
