5S-8142: 0.75mm Thick Cylinder Liner Shim

Description: A shim is used at the liner flange in the Cylinder Block to adjust the height of the liner or compensate for wear and manufacturing tolerances. Shim is a thin, flat, circular piece of metal or plastic with a hole in the center that is used to distribute the load of a fastener, such as a bolt or a screw. A Shim can also be used as a spacer to adjust the distance between two objects or surfaces. Attributes: • Provide a larger surface area to spread the load and prevent damage to the surface. • Prevent the loosening of the fastening device. • Prevent excess movement of the components. Applications: A Cylinder Liner Shim is used to install the shim directly below the liner flange in the Cylinder Block, mostly used in Cat 16 Motor Graders, 619C, 630B, 632, 631B, 641, 650, 660, 666, 651 and 657 Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, 769, 769B Truck, 824 and 834 Wheel Type Tractor, 988 Wheel Loaders, D343A Engine (Piston).
