Description: A Demountable Wheel Rim also known as a split Rim or detachable Rim, consists of two or more parts that can be disassembled for tire replacement or repair. The Rim usually has a center disc or hub that attaches to the vehicle's axle, and an outer Rim that holds the tire in place. Attributes: • Helps in maintaining optimal braking performance by enhancing better heat dissipation. • Prevents tire from exploding during removal with the help of the ability to separate the rim. Applications: A Demountable Wheel Rim is used in the effective replacement of tires during punctures or damages where Removing the entire component from the axle is a complex operation, mostly used in CAT 924K, 930K, 938, 938K, and 938M Wheel Loader.
