Description: Cat hydraulic cylinders such as 608-9648 work to convert fluid power produced by the hydraulic pump into motion and force to get work done. Track adjust and mechanical recoil systems use a large recoil spring and greased filled adjustment cylinder which allows the idler to move forward and back to maintain proper track tension as it absorbs undercarriage shock loads.
