624-0563: Accumulator Charging Valve

Description: An Accumulator Charge Valve is used to increase or decrease the amount of gas used in an accumulator. Attributes: Cat® Accumulator Charge Valves are used in servicing an accumulator to either relieve or build pressure of the gas charging medium, typically nitrogen gas. WARNING: Consult your dealer for the proper procedures to relieve accumulator system pressure prior to servicing the accumulator. Failure to do so may result in injury or death. Recommended Application: Cat accumulator charge valves may be used in a variety of accumulator applications including hydraulic systems, allowing the system to manage pressure spikes, an example of which might be a heavy load. They might also be used in brake and suspension systems.
