627-3520: Side Rubber Sheeting

Cat® Fabric Reinforced Rubber is made up of smooth EPDM rubber with a Polyester cloth insert, added incrementally throughout the thickness of the material. It is a synthetic rubber that exhibits excellent durability, resisting damage and degradation from extreme temperatures and weather conditions. Rubber sheets on front and sides of broom aid in containing debris and airborne contaminants during sweeping. Fabric reinforced rubber sheeting is a high quality as well as economical solution to many applications. We manufacture this material using a combination of high quality raw materials with dispersed fibers. This creates a unique compound that provides outstanding durability and resistance. A key feature of fabric reinforced rubber sheeting is the material's excellent tear and abrasion resistance. Rubber typically provides good levels of strength and flexibility as standard. However, the fabric reinforcement serves to increase the durability of this material for use in physically demanding applications.
