An Excavator Swing Drive consists of a hydraulic motor and a gearbox. The hydraulic motor is powered by the machine's hydraulic system. The gearbox multiplies the torque of the hydraulic motor and transfers it to the upper structure of the machine. The swing drive helps to keep the machine stable during operation when lifting and moving heavy loads.
