6L-5458: 0.062" Flange Gasket

The flange gaskets are designed to seal the space between two sections of pipe. Most of the pipes are joined at a flanged surface. The surface where two pipes join isn't smooth or otherwise flat. Its goal is to prevent leakage of liquid or gas from or into, the joined objects while under compression. The gaskets allow for less-than-perfect mating surfaces on machine parts. Attributes: • Maintain effective sealing performance. • Provided with 2 flange holes of size 0.406" for ease of mounting. Applications: The flange gaskets are used to create a static seal between two flange faces, at various operating conditions, with varied pressure and temperature ratings.
