A Straight carburetor adapter is a specific type of adapter used in engines to connect the carburetor to the intake manifold. This adapter is used to fit or place one type of carburetor on an intake manifold that may not have been originally designed for it. Also used to adapt four-barrel carburetors to two-barrel manifolds. The adapter must also have the correct bolt pattern and bore size to properly fit both the carburetor and intake manifold.
