Product Description
The Rotor is a component of the alternator system, responsible for generating electrical power. It contains a shaft with a magnetic core surrounded by wire windings. When the rotor rotates, it induces a magnetic field, which in turn creates an electrical current in the wire windings. It is driven by a belt connected to the engine's crankshaft, causing it to spin at a high speed. As it rotates, the magnetic field created by the rotor's windings passes through stationary wire coils known as stator windings. This interaction between the rotating magnetic field and the stationary stator windings generates alternating current (AC) electricity. Attributes: • Designed for efficient power generation and reliable operation. • Withstands the high rotational speeds and generate sufficient electrical output. Applications: The Rotor helps the alternator system, enabling the conversion of mechanical energy from the engine into electrical energy for vehicle functions.
