Descriptions: An Oil Pump Drive Gear is part of an Engine Oil Pump that is responsible for transferring power from the Engine's crankshaft to the Oil Pump. It is typically a 40 Toothed wheel that is mounted on the crankshaft and meshes with a corresponding gear on the Oil Pump, as it allows the engine to transfer power to the Oil Pump, which in turn circulates oil throughout the engine to lubricate moving parts and reduce friction.
