8C-9634: 24 Volt Pilot Valve Coil

A Pilot Valve Coil is an electromagnet that controls a pilot valve. The pilot valve, in turn, controls the flow of fluid in a hydraulic system. The pilot valve coil is made up of a coil of wire wrapped around a ferromagnetic core. When an electric current is passed through the coil, it creates a magnetic field. This magnetic field attracts a plunger, which moves and opens or closes the pilot valve.
