8E-9487: Drive Shaft Yoke

Description: Yoke (part # 8E-9487) is used in the drive shaft of certain Track Type Tractor models to interface with the U-joint. Cat drive train components must endure incredible torque, high impact loads, and frequent direction and gear changes. Cat yokes are designed to allow rigid shafts to be joined about a spider assembly to transmit rotary motion to the wheels or tracks.
