8E-9565: Transmission Planetary Sun Gear

Descriptions: A Sun Gear drives the surrounding planetary gears which are fixed to a carrier. When the Sun Gear is driven, the planet gears rotate the outer ring gear. The wheels can be mounted over the housing of the gearbox. The Sun Gear is located at the center and transmits torque to the planet gears which are typically mounted on a moveable carrier. Attributes: • Helps to transmit high torque values. • Provides low friction loss, therefore we can get more efficiency. Applications: A Sun Gear is used in the Planetary Transmission to provide larger torque and efficiency, mostly used in Cat 73D, 768C, 769C, 772B, 772D, 773, 773B, 773D, 773E, 773F, 773G, 775, 775B, 775D, 775E, 775F, 775G, 777G and AD55B Truck, 775 AD60 and AD63 Articulated Truck, C13, C18 and TH43 Powertrain, C18 Goer.
