A Throttle Disc, also known as a Throttle plate or Throttle valve, is designed to regulate the airflow into the engine intake manifold, controlling the engine's power output and speed. It is located in the throat or the barrel of the Carburetor and consists of a circular plate that is mounted on a shaft. This plate can rotate or pivot to adjust the size of the opening, thereby controlling the amount of air that enters the engine.
