A Lip Seal, also known as a Radial Lip Seal or Shaft Seal, creates a dynamic barrier between a stationary part, such as a housing or casing, and a rotating or reciprocating part, such as a shaft. It consists of a flexible elastomeric lip that is in contact with the rotating shaft.
