9T-3427: Straight Sleeve Bearing

A Sleeve Bearing sometimes called bushings, journal bearings, or plain bearings facilitates motion between two components. They are appropriate for a variety of heavy-duty applications because of their high load capacity. Sleeve bearings are made of metal, plastic, or fiber-reinforced composite sleeves. This Sleeve Bearing is placed inside the pump group to provide smooth operation of the drive shaft. Attributes: • Greatly reduce noise at low speeds. • Provides mechanical stability with low coefficients of friction. • Can handle radial load and thrust loads. • Provides shock load resistance due to their greater contact zone. Applications: A Straight Sleeve Bearing is used in the Gear pump to provide support for the drive shaft, generally used to reduce the friction between the moving parts.
