A Transfer Gear is used to transmit power between two shafts that are not in line with each other. It is placed over a bevel pinion, which is a gear with teeth cut on a conical surface. The bevel pinion is used to transmit power and torque between intersecting shafts that are at a right angle to each other. Attributes: • Provided with an external helical Gear of 37 teeth and an internal involute spline of 79 teeth • Withstands the high stresses and temperatures generated during operation Applications: A Transfer Gear works by changing the speed and direction of the power that is transmitted from the transmission to the axles. The speed of the axles is determined by the gear ratio of the transfer gear.
