The Suction Strainer with union filters and protects fluid systems by preventing the entry of debris, particulate matter, and solid contaminants into a pumping or fluid transfer unit. It is where fluids are drawn from a source. The strainer element is a mesh or perforated filter screen that surrounds the suction tube. It is responsible for trapping and retaining unwanted particles, preventing them from entering the downstream unit. It is a magnetic and bonded sump type.
