The Kit Shim consists of 9 shims with different thicknesses and these shims help to adjust gaps, alignment, and fitment between two surfaces or parts. Shims are used to align components such as Pump parts, bearings, or housings to ensure proper positioning and reduce vibration or noise. Shims are employed to fine-tune the fitment of parts, compensating for slight variations in dimensions and achieving desired clearances. Attributes: • Provide stability and prevent tilting or rocking • Distribute loads evenly between mating surfaces, avoiding localized stress concentrations Applications: The Kit Shim is used in the part of the Final Drive to provide support to achieve the desired fit and is used individually or stacked to achieve the required thickness or alignment.
