157-8831: Fuel Level Sender

A Fuel Level Sender is that floats on the surface of the fuel in the tank. As the fuel level changes, the float moves up or down, causing the resistance of the variable resistor connected to it to change. This change in resistance is then converted into an electrical signal that is transmitted to the fuel gauge. The fuel gauge interprets the electrical signal and displays the fuel level information to the driver. This allows the driver to have an accurate estimation of the amount of fuel in the tank and helps in managing fuel consumption and planning refuelling stops.
