Description: A Track Bush is used in the Track assembly of the undercarriage to provide a sliding or rotating interface between two parts. It is often made of a low-friction material, that reduces friction and wear between the two surfaces. It helps to maintain alignment between the shaft and the surrounding structure. The bush is usually placed within the housing, and the shaft passes through its central bore. Attributes: • Provides more strength, and hardness as the material is cold extruded • More toughness as it had gone through the heat treatment process of quenching • Rockwell hardness C 59-64 HRC for better wear resistance Applications: A Track Bush is used to support and enable smooth rotational or sliding motion between two parts of the track group, mostly used in Cat 304, 304.5, 304C, 305, 305.5, 305.5D, 305.5E, 305C, 305D, 305E, 306, MM40CR, MM40T, MM45T, and MM55SR Excavators.
