186-3104: Spherical Flare Exhaust Tube

Description: A Spherical Flare Exhaust Tube is used in an exhaust unit that is responsible for carrying exhaust gases from the engine to other components in the assembly. This tube has a spherical flare at the top that is designed to fit in the muffler tube arrangements for transferring the gases from the muffler to the frame. It has an optimum size that allows more exhaust gases to flow through the tube without reducing the velocity of the flow. Attributes: • Treated by Ferritic Nitrocarburizing process resulting in surface hardness of 30-32 on Rockwell C scale which improves resistance to wear and chemical reactions • Withstands high pressures and temperatures of the exhaust gases Applications: A Spherical Flare Exhaust Tube is used on the Rear Frame to carry the Exhaust Gases from the muffler which then releases the gas to the environment, which is used mostly in Cat 725, 725C, 725C2, 730, 730C, 730C2, and 735 Articulated Truck, 730, 730C, and 730C2 EJ Ejector Truck
