The Converter Stator is used for redirecting the flow of fluid to optimize torque transfer. When the impeller spins and directs fluid towards the turbine, the stator blades automatically adjust their angle to redirect the fluid flow back to the impeller. This redirection creates a rotational force, known as stator torque multiplication, which effectively multiplies the torque output delivered to the transmission.
