Description: A Gear Retainer is a component used to secure a gear in place. It typically consists of a cylindrical piece of metal that is designed to fit in the Transmission Control assembly in which the gear is placed and locked in its position. The Retainer prevents the gear from sliding or falling out of the control handle assembly during operation. This Retainer is available in various sizes and materials based on the requirement of the applications. Attributes: • Suitable to fit in a shaft with an inner diameter of 1.109". • Manufactured from bronze which provides high strength and resistance to corrosion and metal fatigue. Applications: A Gear Retainer is used to hold and secure the gear in Transmission Control, mostly used in CAT 826C and 836 Landfill Compactor, 815B Soil Compactor, 834B Wheel Dozer, 988B, 980C, 992C, 950F, 966F, 980F, 950F II and 994 Wheel Loader.
