Description: Tube bundles, like part #210-6897, use a number of tubes fitted together within the heat exchanger to provide heat transfer between fluids of different temperatures. Shell and tube heat exchangers consist of a core that is made up of a single tube or multiple parallel tubes (also known as a tube bundle) that are enclosed in a sealed pressure vessel. Heat transfer occurs as one fluid flows through the smaller tube(s) while the other flows around the outside and within the shell.
