Description: A Demountable Rim is divided into two main sections the outer flange and the inner barrel. The outer flange is the outermost part of the rim that forms the visible edge and provides the mounting surface for the tire. The inner barrel connects to the outer flange and provides structural support for the rim. Attributes: • Withstands impacts and road hazards. • Easy for maintenance and repair. Applications: A Demountable Rim is used to provide the mounting surface for tires and is mainly used in Cat 725, 725B, 730, and 730B Truck, 725, 725C, 730, 730C, 735, 740, 740B, D250E, D300E, D350E, and D400E Articulated Truck, TH35, and TH38 Powertrain.
