An Irregular Gasket is a seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak free seal between mating parts. Cat gaskets are designed using the right combination of material and profile to deliver performance and application. Attributes: • Designed according to the required specifications and provided with needed mounting holes. • Manufactured using Expanded rubber to withstand vibrational loads and high temperatures. Applications An Irregular Gasket is used in Control Valves, these are anti-vibration, packaging, noise and sound reduction, and most importantly, its most common use of sealing.
