257-2553: Compactor Wheel Tip Assembly

Description: Part # 257-2553 is a modified chevron tamping tip for the 815 Series Soil Compactor. The symmetrical tamping wheel tip pattern has a modified chevron tamping wheel tip design to provide greater ground pressure, more compaction, a smooth ride, and excellent traction. The tip is welded to a base assembly, which is then welded directly to the drum. Tips are replaceable. The chevron tamping wheel tip design is used for equal compaction in forward or reverse.
