293-7170: Oscillating Axle

An Oscillating Axle is designed to provide enhanced stability and traction on uneven terrain. The Axle consists of an Axle housing, pivot point, oscillating mechanism, and Final Drive. The Axle housing contains the Axle shafts and Differential. The Pivot point is located near the center of the Axle, allowing the Axle to pivot and oscillate relative to the machine's chassis. Attributes: • Enhanced traction on slippery terrain • Enables the machine to articulate and flex Applications: An Oscillating Axle is used to enhance steering performance by allowing the Front wheels to better maintain Ground contact even on uneven surfaces.
