Description: When current is applied to a Cat relay, it energizes an electromagnet. The electromagnet closes open contacts, to energize a circuit. Relay sockets, such as 336-9184, serve to mount relays and serve as an interface between the relay and circuit, simplifying relay replacement and installation.
