Moderate service track shoes provide the best penetration and traction, resist wear and bending and are available in various widths and modifications. Moderate service track shoes are rolled from modified medium carbon steel.• Clipped track shoes have the grouser corners cut off to reduce turning resistance and bending force without loss of flotation and with little loss of overall wear life.
