Description: A brake control diverter valve also known as a proportioning valve is a component of the braking system. The primary function of this valve is to regulate the amount of brake pressure that is distributed to each wheel of the vehicle. When the driver applies the brakes, the master cylinder pressurizes the brake fluid and sends it to the brake control diverter valve. This valve then divides the brake fluid into separate lines, which go to each of the vehicle's wheels.
