Descriptions: The V-Belts are Belts with a trapezoidal cross-section. Like other types of belts, they are used to transmit power or torque from the driving component to the driving component. The V-Belt helps to transmit force out from the engine straight to the ancillary elements. Together these devices offer a high-speed power transmission solution that is resistant to slipping and misalignment. The V-Belt Pulleys (also called vee belt sheaves) are devices that transmit power between axles by the use of a V-Belt, a mechanical linkage with a trapezoidal cross-section. Attributes: • Tension Strength of the Belt will be 2260N and more, so it can support without fracture when stretched. • Elongation at the load will be 4% and less at 790N. • Can withstand wear and tear resistance. Applications: The V-belt also called the multi-ribbed belt, is a belt that drives the Alternator, mostly used in Cat C0.7 and C1.1 Engine (Piston), CB1.7 and CB1.8 Compactors, and CB14 Paving Equipment.
