The Composite Piston refers to a type of piston that is constructed using a combination of different materials. The piston forms an essential part of the combustion chamber within the engine cylinder. It moves up and down, creating the necessary space for the combustion process to occur. Rather than being made entirely of a single material, composite pistons utilize a blend of materials to take advantage of their individual properties and enhance overall piston performance. Attributes: • Engineered to provide strength and durability, even with reduced weight. • Threads and Contact areas of Hexagon nut are treated with Molykote G-n Plus. • Hex Nuts Torqued Crosswise to 65 Nm. (48 ft-lbs) Application: The Composite Piston's main purpose is to transfer the force generated by the combustion process to the crankshaft, which ultimately converts the linear motion of the piston into rotational motion.
