Description: Offering unparalleled manufacturing precision, Cat® Feeder plate are part of material feed system in front part of the Paver. The plate is used in the feeder chain assembly that pulls asphalt from front of the machine to rear. The plate is the "floor" of the feeder bed and the chain drags the asphalt across this plate. The feeder plate is considered as a wear part and is replaced every 2-5 years depending on the asphalt aggregates and the tonnage paved. Feeder Bed Corner Plates have a radius to accomodate the feeder chain end geometry.
