Description: A Steering Pressure Sensor is a device that measures the hydraulic pressure within the power steering unit. The sensor is placed in line with the power steering fluid circuit and detects the pressure changes within the unit as the driver turns the steering wheel. The sensor consists of a pressure-sensitive element, usually a diaphragm or piezoresistive element, that converts the hydraulic pressure into an electrical signal. Attributes: • Provided with a pressure range of 35.5 MPa. • Operates within a voltage range of 7 V to 14 V. Applications: A Steering Pressure Sensor is used to ensure that the power steering unit is operating correctly and providing sufficient hydraulic pressure to assist with steering, mostly used in Cat 950, 950L, 950M, 962, 962L, 962M, 966, 966L, 966M, 972, 972L, 972M, 980, 980L, 980M, 982, and 982M Wheel Loader, HRD25 Underground Mining.
